Walpole Police Log: Shoplifters on Route 1, Destruction of Property, Assault & More

May 8 9:30 a.m. Caller reported a larceny from a work site on West Street. May 9 1:12 p.m. Caller reported a shoplifter on Route 1. May 10 6:36 a.m. Caller from a business on East Street reported a break in. 3:33 p.m. Joshua Andrews, 17, of 298 East St. was arrested for malicious destruction of property. 5:18 p.m. Caller reported two shoplifters on Route 1. May 12 9:39 p.m. Diane McNulty, 49, of 1053 Main St. was arrested for assault and battery.

Suspects Wanted in Walpole B&E Arrested in Norwood on Shoplifting Charges

The following information was supplied by the Norwood police department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The two suspects wanted by Walpole Police in connection to a housebreak in town on May 8th were arrested on shoplifting charges in Norwood Friday, May 10th. “The subjects identified as Jack Mansour of Wrentham and Rachel MacMillan of Walpole [that] were wanted in connection with a residential breaking and entering on Audubon Drive were captured over the weekend,” Walpole police said. Mansour and MacMillan reportedly were caught shoplifting at the Norwood Shop & Stop on Providence Highway at 4:23 p.m. on Friday, May 10th, according to Norwood Police logs. MacMillan arrested and charged with shoplifting by asportation and on two outstanding warrants and a fugitive from justice on court warrant. Mansour was arrested and charged with …

May 6 12:03 p.m. Caller reported a larceny of trailers on Industrial Road. 2:03 p.m. Caller reported a case of shoplifting on Route 1. Three juveniles were arrested. 2:37 p.m. Ashidda Kearney, 32, of 324 Parry St. in Trenton, N.J., was arrested for two counts of receiving stolen property, conspiracy, giving a false name to police and felony larceny. 5:11 p.m. Mark James, 29, of 159 High St. in Mansfield was arrested for conspiracy and giving a false name to police. Walpole Police Looking for 2 Suspects in Connection to Recent Housebreak

Have you seen these two individuals? They are each wanted for active warrants out of Wrentham District Court and in connection to a residential breaking and entering on Audubon Drive on May 8th.

A Wrentham man and Walpole woman are wanted by local police for questioning in connection to a housebreak that occurred on Audubon Drive in Walpole last week. Jack Mansour of Wrentham and Rachel MacMillan of Walpole both have active warrants out of Wrentham District Court, according to Walpole police and each are wanted in connection with a residential breaking and entering on Audubon Drive on May 8th. "Walpole police are looking for the public's assistance in locating these two individuals," police said. April 30 2:43 a.m. Caller reported a fire on his deck on Walnut Street. 1:28 p.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on Main Street. No injuries were reported. 3:48 p.m. Caller reported receiving a counterfeit bill on Main Street. 5:37 p.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on East Street. No injuries were reported. 7:28 p.m. Caller reported a coyote in the area of Buckboard Drive. 7:32 p.m. Caller reported a motor vehicle collision on Main Street. Wednesday, April 24: 1:55 a.m. – Evan Peters, 26, of Franklin, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor following a motor vehicle stop on Route 1 in Walpole. Bail was set at $40. 10:38 p.m. – John Harper, 30, of Walpole, was arrested and charged with OUI liquor, carrying a dangerous weapon, marked lanes violation, miscellaneous motor vehicle defective equipment violation and possession of Class C substance. Walpole's Board of Selectmen recognized and thanked the town’s six police officers that were deployed to Boston to assist in the aftermath of the Marathon bombings.

Six Walpole police officers were recognized at Tuesday's Board of Selectmen meeting for their efforts in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings and the manhunt for Suspect #2. Selectmen thanked police chief Richard Stillman, patrolman Scott Koenig, Detective Sgt. Jim O'Connell, patrolman Luke Parlon and motorcycle patrolman AL Manganello. These six officers answered the call and assisted in the investigation of the marathon bombing as well as the April 19th manhunt that eventually led to the capture of second bombing suspect, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. After 102 hours of terror, mourning, striving and struggle, police killed one and captured the second marathon bomber suspect. With both of the bombers accounted for, law enforcement nabbed …

Walpole Police Warn of 'FBI' Fine Scam

A popup screen shows a warning with the FBI logo on it saying "you were breaking a federal law on the Internet, so the 'FBI' has locked your computer and is going to fine you."

The Walpole Police Department is warning residents of an Internet scam known as the "FBI MoneyPak" scam. "We are starting to receive numerous reports of people falling for an Internet scam known as the 'FBI MoneyPak' scam," Walpole police said in a statement. Here's how the scam works, according to WPD: HOW IT WORKS: You are browsing the Internet on your computer when a window pops up on your screen (view the photo in the gallery above). The popup screen is a warning, and it has the FBI logo on it. The warning says you were breaking a federal law on the Internet, so the "FBI" has locked your computer, and is going to fine you. You try to close the window, but you can't. Your computer is completely locked down. The warning says you need to …

Saulnier, 49, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 and conspiracy following an incident at Piercing Pagoda, 100 Route 1, East Walpole. 7:48 p.m. – Cindy E. Allen, 44, of Norwood, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250 and conspiracy following an incident at Piercing Pagoda, 100 Route 1, East Walpole.
