5K for the 4th Trail Run on May 19th

One of the best nights of the year in Walpole is the Night Before the 4th Fireworks held on July 3rd. This longtime tradition in town celebrates "Small Town America" in the best possible way. Thousands of people flood downtown Walpole to watch a spectacular Fireworks show and enjoy music, food and community. This night is made possible by donations, and every year it is a huge effort to raise the necessary funds. For the second year, the Walpole Recreation Department and the Rebel Runners will be holding the "5K for the 4th Trail Run" through Walpole Town Forest. Held on Sunday, May 19th, the race kicks off at Walpole High School at 9:00 a.m. Runners of all ages are welcome, and all proceeds go toward the Fireworks Fund. Registration is $20.00 prior to May 17th, and $25.00 after that.
