$95,000 Raised at Walpole Country Club Tournament

Over $95,000 was raised for the Judge Baker Children's Center earlier this week, as over 100 golfers participated in the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational tournament at the .

In it's seventh year, proceeds from the tournament to benefit Judge Baker go towards programs that help kids with mental and emotional problems.

Monday was a beautiful day for golf as the sun was shining and there was no threat of the recent rain and thunderstorms seen in the area this week.

The winning foursome included three Walpole residents who will receive an invitation to the Liberty Mutual Insurance Invitational National Finals at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina in 2013.

Brian Walsh, Charles “Chuck” O’Donnell and Frank Foley, of Walpole and Gary Diomede, of Sudbury won on the day shooting -12 (59) as a group.
