"I thought we ran pretty well," said UMass Dartmouth Head Coach Jon Hird. "Our top women's runner and our third, fourth and fifth runners for the men's team didn't run, and for us to run as well as we did is a good reflection on our freshmen and young runners. It was hot and humid, but a lot of our young runners had a good day, and I was pleased."

The Corsairs will return to action when they visit Roger Williams next Saturday.
