UPDATE: Walpole Boys' Hockey Takes Ice Against Norwood in First Round of MIAA D1 South Sectional Friday in Bourne

Rebels earn 10th seed in state tournament with 9-6-5 record.

UPDATE (Feb. 28, 11:08 a.m.) - Walpole boys' hockey will face Norwood on Friday, March 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Gallo Arena in Bourne.

The Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) announced Tuesday the pairings for the Division 1 South Sectional Boys' Hockey State Tournament and Walpole will open against Norwood in the first round.

The Rebels (9-6-5) enter the state tournament as the 10th seed in D1 South and will face off against a Mustangs squad that skated to a 13-5-2 record this season, good for the tourney's seventh seed.
