Channel 7's Chris Lambert Teaches Elm Street School Students About Weather

Channel 7 meteorologist Chris Lambert paid a visit to Walpole's Elm Street School Tuesday morning to give a presentation about weather.

Lambert shared his expertise with about 75 4th graders in the auditorium.

Elm Street Principal Mary Grinavic said the students have been learning a lot about weather this year and inviting Lambert to speak to the kids allows them a closer look at what they have been studying.

During the presentation Lambert discussed aspects of his job along with several weather topics including thunderstorms, wind fronts, thunder and lightning, tornadoes, blizzards and different weather patterns.

The kids watched Lambert's slide show presentation and asked questions after the discussion.
