Walpole Ranks #67 in State for Real Estate Taxes Paid Last Year

Walpole taxpayers paid an average of $5,740 in real estate taxes last year, according to newly released data by the Department of Revenue.

Walpole taxpayers paid an average of $5,740 in real estate taxes during fiscal year 2012, according to data recently released by the Department of Revenue. 

Among the Commonwealth’s 351 cities and towns, Walpole ranks Number 67 on the list of towns that pay the highest real estate taxes in 2012 with Weston paying the highest at $16,643 and Hancock (home of Hancock Shaker Village, population 721) paying the least at $759.
