Walpole Police Log: Shoplifting Arrest and Multiple B&E's

Monday- Nov. 19, 2012

Abandoned 9-1-1 Call- 8:41 a.m.

Main Street- State Police reported receiving a 9-1-1 call and could hear a woman in the background that sounded upset. They reported no answer upon multiple call backs and the phone could not be traced because it is a pre-paid phone. Officer checked in the area of High Street where the call pinged. Area was checked with nothing found.

Residential Fire- 3:13 p.m.

Conifer Drive- Report of a possible electrical fire. Fire Department notified.

Struck Deer- 5:52 p.m.

Washington Street- Caller reported that she hit a deer with her motor vehicle. Minor damage reported.

 

Tuesday- Nov. 20, 2012

Larceny- 2:04 a.m.

Route 1- Larceny reported from Walmart. Sharon PD stopped a motor vehicle in their town. Sharon PD took two into custody.

Forced B&E- 5:05 p.m.

Walden Drive- Laundry room alarm reported. Officer reported that the back door had been kicked in. State Police to send K-9 unit. Report to follow.

Forced B&E- 6:17 p.m.

Covey Road- Caller reported that her house was broken into during the time she was at work. Units responded. Report to follow.

Shoplifting, 2nd Offense, Arrest Made- 6:44 p.m.

550 Route 1- Security reported a male shoplifter. Scott R. Wood, 25, of 571 Main Street, Apt. 1, Athol, Mass. was arrested for alleged Shoplifting by Concealing Merchandise, 2nd Offense and on two outstanding warrants for alleged Shoplifting and Assault and Battery.

 

Wednesday- Nov. 21, 2012

Trespass- 1:02 p.m.

Main Street- Caller reported a group of teenagers who were walking on the train tracks. Officers checked the area. Kids were located and sent on their way.

Residential Fire- 4:10 p.m.

East Street- Caller reported that her oven was on fire. Fire Department notified.

Suspicious Person- 6:16 p.m.

Rhoades Avenue- Caller reported a man walking up her driveway. Officer responded, gone on arrival.

Larceny- 8:19 p.m.

Washington Street- Female shoplifter, left the store and went to the upstairs apartment. Units responded, report taken.

 

Thursday- Nov. 22, 2012

Wires Down- 8:54 p.m.

Route 1- Caller reported wires down behind the Walpole Mall. Walpole Fire notified and responding.

Traffic Hazard- 11:21 p.m.

Route 1- Caller reported a car driving southbound in the northbound lane of Route 1.
