Walpole Police Log: Drug Overdose and Multiple Larcenies

Friday- Nov. 16, 2012

Drug Overdose- 2:21 a.m.

Kendall Street- A woman called from Dedham and stated that her sister told her she had taken 10 little blue pills. Officers and an ambulance responded. Person transported to Norwood Hospital.

Larceny From a Motor Vehicle- 10:37 a.m.

Washington Street- Caller reported that his vehicle was broken into while he was in the park.

Warrant Arrest- 1:20 p.m.

118 Common Street- Stephanie A. Ovesen, 35, of 8 Washington Street, Apt. 1, Foxborough, Mass. was arrested on outstanding warrants for alleged Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle, Larceny Under $250 and two counts of Attempt to Commit a Crime.

Officer Wanted- 8:57 p.m.

Report of a male party taking other peoples' drinks at the bar. Units responded. Party left establishment with a ride from friends.

Traffic Hazard- 7:30 a.m.

Main Street- Norfolk Police reported a public works trucks from Framingham that had been leaking fuel. The truck came into their town from Walpole. Officer checked West and Main Streets for a fuel leak.

 

Saturday- Nov. 17, 2012

Health Hazard- 1:14 p.m.

Hanson Avenue- Caller reported a needle on the sidewalk. Officer responded for removal.

Larceny- 4:26 p.m.

Emerson Road- Caller reported that her mailbox was stolen. Report to follow.

Traffic Hazard- 5:46 p.m.

North Street- Report of a group of kids put up barricades in the road to block it. Road blocked moved to the side of the road.

 

Sunday- Nov. 18, 2012

Disturbance- 7:23 p.m.

Route 1- Report of a customer yelling and swearing in the store.

Suspicious Person- 7:32 p.m.

Summer Street- Report of a suspicious person laying by the train tracks. Officers checked the length of the tracks and did not find a party matching the description given.
