Walpole Police Log: Drug Arrests and Storm-Related Incidents

Friday- Feb. 8, 2013

Motor Vehicle Accident- 9:12 a.m.

West Street- Report of a truck hitting an MBTA bridge. No injuries. MBTA notified of the damage.

Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws- 4:34 p.m.

550 Route 1- Peter Katic, 24, of 32 Pine Street, Norwood, Mass. was arrested for alleged Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws.

Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws- 5:02 p.m.

550 Route 1- Rashad Balal, 24, of 347 Pleasant Street, Norwood, Mass. was arrested for alleged Conspiracy to Violate Controlled Substance Laws.

Tree Problems- 8:54 p.m.

Park Lane- Received 9-1-1 call reported a tree down on a vehicle, possibly hit a house.

 

Saturday- Feb. 9, 2013

General Service- 8:44 a.m.

School Street- DPW reported 3 youths out walking in the way of plows. Officer transported the youths to their residence to speak with parents.

Officer Wanted- 7:40 p.m.

Highland Street- Resident reported that his driveway was blocked by snow. DPW assisted resident.

 

Sunday- Feb. 10, 2013

Water Problems- 11:59 a.m.

Route 1- Caller reported pipes broke in a store.

Traffic Hazard- 12:19 p.m.

Main Street- Caller reported that snow banks were too high for cars to turn out of Williams Street. DPW notified.

Motor Vehicle Accident- 10:02 p.m.

East Street- Caller reported a vehicle that drove into a snow bank. Vehicle was involved in a previous erratic operator call. Vehicle towed.
