State Police Sobriety Checkpoint Yields 8 Arrests on Route 1 in Walpole
On top of the arrested there were 42 civil citations written and two criminal summons issued.
The Massachusetts State Police held a sobriety checkpoint in Norfolk County on Route 1 South, in Walpole over the weekend, with the Walpole Police Department.
Eight people were arrested for OUI Liquor/Drugs, one other person was arrested for a misdemeanor, 42 civil citations were written, and two criminal summons were issued.

The other three were taken in custody and held by Walpole police. All persons arrested will appear in Wrentham District Court.
