Walpole Obituary: Patrick C. Scully

Patrick C. Scully age 89 years died in his Walpole, Massachusetts home on Monday, December 17, 2012. Born in Beaufort, Co. Kerry, Ireland on December 21, 1922, he was the son of the late Daniel and Julia (Gleason) Scully. He was raised and educated in Ireland and came to the United States of America as a young man. He has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts since May 2007 moving there from Dedham.

Mr. Scully was a carpenter and was proud to work for the Carpenter’s Union Local 67 for 35 years.

He was a long time parishioner of Saint Mary’s Church in Dedham.

Beloved husband of the late Dorothy M. (Fitzgerald) Scully. Loving father of Paula M. Scully of Plainville, Christopher D. and his wife Barbara Scully of Walpole and Brian J. and his wife Barbara Scully of Plainville. Cherished grandfather of Ashleigh, Brianna, Lauren and Matthew. Brother of Joseph Scully of Ireland, the late Timothy Scully, John Scully, Daniel Scully, and Sr. Maureen Scully.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Friday, December 21, 2012 from 3 to 7PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.
