Walpole Obituary: Nancy Conti

Ms. Conti was a resident of Walpole.

Nancy Marie Conti (Chandler) 82, of Walpole, formerly of Norwood, Fri., Dec. 28.

Nancy was born in Norwood on September 8, 1930, daughter of Edward and Josephine (Heagney) Chandler. She resided in the White Mountains of New Hampshire as a young girl and was a resident of Norwood nearly all of her life. She graduated from Norwood High School with the class of 1948 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education from St. Mary's College. Mrs. Conti worked as a Science Teacher for ten years.

She leaves her beloved husband, Joseph F. Conti, four sons, Joseph E. Conti and his wife Darlene of East Walpole, Michael F. Conti and his wife Bonnie of Norfolk, Robert C. Conti and his wife Cathryn of Walpole, John J. Conti and his wife Martha of Medfield; a brother, Robert X. Chandler and his wife Mary Katherine of New Seabury; eight grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Chandler and by her sister-in-law, Carole Chandler.

Funeral Services will be held on Wed., Jan. 2, from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD, at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood.

Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 1, from 2-6 PM.
