Walpole Obituary: Morton Foster Harris

Morton Foster Harris age 94 years died in the Harrington House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Walpole, Massachusetts on Sunday, November 18, 2012. Born in New York, NY on July 27, 1918, he was the son of the late William Griffiths Harris and Mabel (Herrman) Harris. He graduated from the Pratt Institute of Technology in New York City with the class of 1940. Most recently, Mr. Harris has been a resident of Walpole, Massachusetts and had previously lived in East Sandwich, Massachusetts and Teaneck, New Jersey.

Mr. Harris was a mechanical engineer and Vice President of Marcal Paper Mills in Elmwood Park, New Jersey.

He was a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Technical Association fo the Pulp and Paper Industry (TAPPI).

Beloved husband of Norma S. (Schotland) Harris. Loving father of Jini Karelitz and her husband Richard of Albuquerque, NM formerly of Sharon, MA and Robert Harris and his wife Jennifer Snyder of Kamuela, HI. Cherished grandfather of David Karelitz of Albuquerque, NM and Daniel Karelitz of Quincy, MA. Brother of the late Mabel Muriel Harris.
