Walpole Obituary: Mary H. Hayward

Mary H. (Kane) Hayward, 84 of East Walpole, died February 17 in St., Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton. She was the wife of the late Stanley Hayward.

Born in Walpole, January 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Martin and Helen (O’Donnell) Kane, Mrs. Hayward was a lifelong East Walpole resident.

A homemaker, Mary was an avid runner.

She is survived by her children, Susan Hayward of Carbondale, Colorado and William Hayward of Walpole.

She is also survived by her brother Philip Kane of Mansfield, her grandchildren, Shannon, Sean, Danielle, Michael and Travis.She is also survived by two special nieces Joyce Kirby and Bev Trollinger.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday February 23 in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00a.m.

In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to Heifer International, 1 World Ave, Little Rock, AR. 72202. Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home, 892 Main Street, Walpole.
