Walpole Obituary: Edward Joseph Orlando

Mr. Orlando was raised and was a business owner in Walpole.

Edward Joseph "Eddie" Orlando, 63, passed away on Cape Cod, Ma Thursday, January 17th surrounded by family.

Born on July 6th, 1949, he was the son of the late Alfred and Doris (Will) Orlando. He was raised and educated in Walpole, Massachusetts.

Eddie worked for Peggy Lawton Kitchens for several years, building their business throughout the Northeast. He went on to own his own successful businesses in Walpole and Norfolk for over 30 years.

Eddie was known for his unconditional love, strong work ethic, generosity, and quick wit. Most of all he will be remembered as a “tough guy” with an enormous heart.

Beloved husband of Linda (Sullivan) Orlando of Dennisport. Loving father of Eddie Orlando Jr. of Wrentham, Kevin Orlando of Foxboro, Christopher Orlando of Quincy, and Jackie Orlando of Walpole. Brother of Raymond Orlando of Dennisport, Alfred Orlando Jr., Robert Orlando, and Donna Robinson of Walpole, David Orlando of North Attleboro, Kimberly Oram of Mansfield, Katy Orlando and Beverly Orlando of Plainville, and the late Deborah Barry of California. Cherished grandfather and great grandfather.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 10AM. Visiting hours are Wednesday, January 23, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be at St. Francis Cemetery in Walpole, Ma. Memorial donations may be made in Edward’s name to Mugar Cancer Center c/o Cape Cod Hospital P.O. Box 370, Hyannis, MA 02601.
