Walpole Obituary: Brenda Ann Balduf

Ms. Balduf was a former resident of Walpole.

Brenda Ann (Bothwell) Balduf, 72, died December 16, 2012, at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, New Hampshire, surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Morton F. Balduf for 48 years.

Born in Norwood, February 23, 1940, Mrs. Balduf had been a longtime resident of Norwood and Walpole, Massachusetts. She retired to Alexandria, New Hampshire several years ago with her husband.

She was a graduate of Norwood High School, Class of 1958 and was the class Valedictorian.

Mrs. Balduf was also a graduate of Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing and Boston University.

After graduating she had worked as a Registered Nurse at Norwood Hospital and had been the Head Nurse in the OR and other departments.

Brenda considered herself a domestic engineer who enjoyed reading, cross stitch, had a love of cats, gardening and her family.

In addition to her husband she is also survived by her daughters Claudia Evelyn Darrow, Nicole Ann Balduf, her son Marcus F. Balduf and her sister Penelope West.

She is also survived by her niece Carol Ann West nephew Steve West, her grandniece and extended family.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday December 29 in the Ginley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 892 Main Street Walpole from 2-6p.m.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery Norwood.

Donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
