Walpole Obituary: Patricia E. Dow

Patricia E. Dow, 99, of Walpole died December 9 in the Ellis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Norwood.

Born in Amesbury, July 7, 1913, the daughter of the late Levi and Elizabeth (Burke) Dow, Miss Dow was raised and had lived in Amesbury for most of her life. She had lived in Norwood for 10 years prior to moving to Walpole 6 months ago.

Miss Dow had been a secretary at the Amesbury Chair Company for several years before retiring.

She had previously worked at the Merrimack Hat Company.

Patricia enjoyed knitting, reading, doing puzzles, spending time with her family during the Holidays and her cat.

She was the sister of the late Virginia Daley.

She is survived by her nephew Carroll Daley of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and her nieces Virginia Willis and Patricia Howes of Walpole.

She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 14 in Blessed Sacrament Church, Walpole at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Amesbury.

Visitation will be on Friday from 9:00-9:45 in the Ginley Funeral Home 892 Main Street in Walpole.
