Walpole Obituaries: Maureen A. Walsh

Maureen A. Walsh, age 67 years, died in her Attleboro, Massachusetts home on Monday, March 18, 2013. Born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Richard A. and Mary A. (Maloney) Walsh. She graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School with the class of 1963. She has been a resident of Attleboro, Massachusetts for the past 7 years moving there from Walpole, Massachusetts, where she lived for 20 years.

She worked as a CNA for the Kindred Healthcare System in both Rosscommon on the Parkway in West Roxbury and at the Harrington House in Walpole for 40 years.

Maureen enjoyed traveling all over the world, but most of all she loved being home to spend time with her grandchildren.

Loving mother of James F. Gallagher, Jr. of Attleboro, Richard P. Gallagher of North Attleboro, Charles A. Gallagher of Attleboro, Ellen M. Gallagher of Attleboro, Christopher P. Gallagher of Attleboro, and Thomas R. Gallagher of Worcester. Cherished grandmother of 4. Sister of Patricia Casey of Norton and the late Richard Walsh. Aunt of Carol Casey, Paula Hopkins, Kenneth Casey, Jr, and Kerry Williams.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, March 22, 2013 12:00 Noon. Visiting hours are Thursday, March 21, 2013 from 4-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Terrace Hill Cemetery in Walpole.
