Evelyn M. Verrochi Dies at 84; Resident of East Walpole for 60 Years

Ms. Verrochi was a 1947 graduate of Walpole High School.

Evelyn M. Verrochi, 84, died peacefully at home in East Walpole, Massachusetts on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Born in Pondville on January 21, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George and Cecelia (Warner) Trank. She graduated from Walpole High School with the class of 1947. She has been a resident of East Walpole for 60 years.

Evelyn and her husband were part owners of TEPCO Machine along with his brothers. This was sold in 1976 and they purchased Gilmore’s together. She was book keeper at Gilmore’s until she and her husband became sole owners some years later along with their sons.

Most of all, Evelyn enjoyed her time with her husband Edward whether at work or at home. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years and their five children; Mary Ellen Peso of Franklin, Edward Verrochi, Jr. of Mansfield, Cynthia Michelson of Manchester, NH, Anthony and Andrew Verrochi of Wrentham. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Sister of Dorothy Verrochi and Celia Verrochi of Wrentham.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial that will be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Church East Street (Route 27) at Diamond Street Walpole on Friday, April 5, 2013 at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours are Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 4-8 PM in the James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home 48 Common Street Walpole. Interment will be in Saint Francis Cemetery in Walpole. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
