The Arc of South Norfolk Hosts 1st Annual "Dancing With The Arc"

Lace up your dancing shoes and join The Arc of South Norfolk in celebrating the first annual “Dancing With The Arc” on Friday, April 25, 2014. From 7:00PM-11:00PM, at the Norwood Elks Lodge (located at 152 Winslow Ave in Norwood, MA), guests and local stars will enjoy a night of music, dancing, drinks and raffle prizes. The event will include performances by the incredible group, Music and Arts Innovation, a special needs band, whom are sure to captivate the audience and keep the morale going all night! 
“Dancing With The Arc” will feature dances by several local stars throughout the night. These special guests include, Paul McMurtry, State Representative, Lisa Borges, Executive Director of the Doug Flutie Jr Foundation for Autism, Leo Sarkissian, CEO of The Arc of Massachusetts, Karen Powell, self-advocate, and Dan Burke, President and CEO of Lifeworks and The Arc of South Norfolk. 
The Arc of South Norfolk is a non-profit agency committed to serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. For 60 years, The Arc of South Norfolk has provided support and services to families of the local community including day habilitation, support and counseling groups, adult education, social and leisure activities, and a resource library of information and referrals in order to maximize independence and foster inclusion. 
Tickets for “Dancing With The Arc” are $25 and must be purchased in advance. For those unable to attend, you are able to support your favorite star by purchasing votes online on their behalf. All proceeds benefit The Arc of South Norfolk’s programs and services.
