This flu season be sure you and your family get vaccinated. It is not too late! There is a lot of flu out there already.
Other ways to protect yourselves from the flu:
- Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. Use a tissue or your inner elbow, not your hands.
- Wash your hands often!
- Stay home if you are sick.
- And again, get a seasonal flu vaccine.
This is especially important if you are pregnant, have a chronic health condition (like asthma or heart disease), are very overweight, are 50 years of age or older and if you are younger than 5 years old. Also, if you are a caregvier or have householod contact with children less than 5 years of age.
