Walpole Police Looking for Vehicle Involved in Hit and Run

Walpole Police are looking for a dark colored vehicle having front right headlight assembly damage.

At approximately 11:30 p.m., Saturday evening, Sept. 15, a female bicyclist was struck from behind while riding her bike along Washington Street at Clinton Avenue in South Walpole. 

The cyclist was traveling southbound when a vehicle traveling in the same direction struck her with the right front end of the vehicle. The cyclist was thrown from the bicycle at which time the involved vehicle fled the scene without stopping or making themselves known. 

The cyclist sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Walpole Police officers recovered several evidentiary items at the scene and are interested in a dark colored vehicle having front right headlight assembly damage.
