5 Things, Oct. 17: Kids Eat Free at Pizzeria Grande Tonight

1. Temps Expected in 60's, Sunny Skies

The National Weather Service calls for sunny skies with highs in the lower 60's Wednesday. Northwest winds around 5 mph...becoming southwest in the afternoon.

2. Voter Registration Deadline Today

Walpole residents who want to vote in the 2012 presidential election and other federal and state races have one day left until the Massachusetts voter registration deadline! The registration deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 17. Voters can register in the Walpole Town Clerk's office, on the first floor of the Town Hall, which is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

3. Kids Eat Free at Pizzeria Grande Today

Pizzeria Grande will be hosting a Family Day where kids 10 and under eat pizza for free. There will also be face painting and balloon twisting. The event is from 6-8 p.m.

4. Meetings in Walpole Wednesday

  • The Economic Development Commission will meet at 9 a.m. in Room 214 at the Town Hall. To view the agenda click here.

5. Live Piano at Walpole Library

Head to the Walpole Library for an hour of easy-listening piano music performed by Walpole piano teacher, Robert Cento. He will be playing songs from the 1940's to the present, including popular standards, light jazz, and show tunes.

Since 1983 Bob has been teaching piano at his downtown studio to students of all ages in the greater Walpole area. So grab a book, sit back, relax, and enjoy some of your old favorites played by Robert Cento.
