5 Things, Nov. 17-18: Holly Berry Fair and 10th Annual Norfolk Aggie Craft Fair

1. 10th Annual Norfolk Aggie Craft Fair

The 10th Annual Fall Craft Fair sponsored by the Norfolk County Agricultural High School Parent Network will be held November 17 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gymnasium of the high school.

The Norfolk Aggie Craft Fair is a juried event where crafters display and sell unique and diverse handmade arts and crafts. All items for sale are hand‐made by the seller.

Proceeds from the fair will go to the high school. 

2. Walpole Rebels St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fundraiser

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a charitable organization that raises money for children’s cancer research.

For the 3rd year in a row, Walpole High School football players will contribute by getting their heads shaved in exchange for donations.

The date is Saturday, November 17 at 1 p.m. at WHS.

The Rebels have raised nearly $25,000 to date.

3. Holly Berry Fair Saturday

The annual Holly Berry Fair is on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The United Church, 30 Common Street, in Walpole. 

The free, fun-filled holiday event includes shopping at the Holiday Emporium, bidding at the Silent Auction, browsing the Bake Shoppe, enjoying a holiday lunch, the Children’s Shopping room and more. Santa Claus will be there too!

4. Weekend Brunch

Where are you eating out this weekend? Here are some local restaurants serving weekend brunch:

Raffael's - Sunday bruch at Raffael's is opened to the public from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Raven's Nest- Sunday brunch at the Raven's Nest is from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Old Country Buffet- The Old Counry Buffet will be open on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday looks to be sunny, with a high near 48, according to the National Weather Service. North wind 5 to 7 mph. At night look for clear skies, with a low around 26. Light north wind.

On Sunday they call for sunny skies, with a high near 48. Calm wind becoming east 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. In the evening look for mostly clear skies, with a low around 27. Light north wind.
