1. A Night with Jim Plunkett, to Benefit the Walpole High School Girls' Ice Hockey Team

Entertainer Jim Plunkett will be on-hand Friday night for a fundraising event to benefit the Walpole High School girls' ice hockey team.

The event, which will be held at the Walpole VFW (33 Robbins Road), will feature a silent auction, raffle baskets, gift certificates and a giant scratch ticket board.

Tickets are $15 each, or 2 for $25. Starts a 7:30 p.m.

2. Live Music at Raven's Nest

The Raven's Nest restaurant on Main Street will be hosting musician Dennis McCarthy beginning at 9:30 p.m.

3. Free Children's Events in Town

  • The Walpole Library will be hosting a children's yoga class taught by Kristin Mulligan, a Massachusetts Certified teacher and Children’s Yoga Instructor at 1 p.m. The program integrates the physical fun of yoga with the benefits of early literacy concepts, knowledge, and skills. Registration is required and limited to Walpole residents. The session is for kids ages 4-6. The event is sponsored by the Friends of the Walpole Public Library.
