5 Things, Jan. 26-27: Winter Farmers Market, Art Attacks and More

1. Winter Farmers Market Sunday

The Walpole Winter Farmers Market will be open Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the VFW Hall, 109 Robbins Rd (off Rt. 27; next to the Johnson Middle School).

Participating vendors include A Summer Place Farm, Oakdale Farms, Town Farm LLC, Davell’s Farm, Vermarje International, Fior D’Italia, Jack’s Dog Cookies, Elizabeth Origami, Plants by Ann, and NYR Organics among others.

2. Get In Shape for Women Open House

Get In Shape for Women on Main Street will be holding an open house on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 1-3 p.m. There will be raffle prizes, refreshments, studio tours and more. We will be offering $100 off any package purchased at the open house. 

3. Art Attacks Session at Studio East

This Art Attacks program is run by local artist Diane S. Scotti, owner of Good Heart Studio. This is an introduction to art experiences for budding artists of all ages.

In the two-hour session, the theme is snow! 

Those who attend will cut, paint, and paste using all things white: paper, paint, or a variety of materials. Participants will create giant snowflakes, glittery scenes or tiny scratch art images of these unique one of a kind crystals

The session is from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Studio East in East Walpole.

The cost is $25.00 Resident/$30.00 Non-Resident.

4. Blessed Sacrament School Open House Sunday

Blessed Sacrament School in Walpole will hold an open house Sunday, Jan. 27 at 1 p.m. Openings are anticipated in all grades Pre-K-8 for September 2013.
