5 Things, Jan. 12-13: Patriots Playoffs, Rebel Hockey and Corduroy

1. Patriots Playoff Game
Sunday at 4:30 p.m. the New England Patriots take on the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs. The winner will head to the AFC Championship Game. The game will be played at Foxborough so be weary travelling down Route 1.
2. Meet Corduroy at Barnes and Noble

Kids can come to storytime at Barnes and Noble Saturday and hear all about Corduroy and his friends. After, there will be a special, in-person visit from Corduroy. Don't forget your camera, and have your photo taken with Corduroy. Event begins at 10:30 a.m.

The Walpole boys hockey team will face off against Norwood Saturday on the road at 4 p.m. The girls team will face the Mustangs at home Saturday at 6:50 p.m.

5. Weekend Weather
Saturday calls for a chance of rain or drizzle before 10 a.m., then scattered showers between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., then a slight chance of drizzle after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Patchy fog after 7 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 44. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
On Sunday, look for patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind becoming southwest 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon. There is a chance of showers, mainly after 3 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Southwest wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
