Walpole Ninety Nine Raises Over $3,500 for Cancer Research

The Ninety Nine Restaurants held a fundraiser raising $430,000 for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

During July and August, the Ninety Nine Restaurants held a fundraiser raising $430,000 for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in communities throughout New England and New York.

The Walpole Ninety Nine Restaurant raised $3,552 for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Through the enormous generosity of Ninety Nine Restaurants’ guests and team members, along with runners in the Falmouth Road Race and riders in the Pan Mass Challenge, funds were raised for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through the following ways:

  • Adding $1, $3 or $5 (or more) to the total guest check
  • Supporting runners and riders through team sponsorship & donations for the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in the Falmouth Road Race and the Pan Mass Challenge.
  • Various in-restaurant events.

 “We are passionate about our relationship with the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as we enter our sixth year of helping them with fundraising,” said Ninety Nine Restaurants President John Grady. “We have dedicated staff and loyal guests in our communities who are looking to make a difference and we sincerely thank everyone who generously donated.”

This year’s Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute fundraiser raised over $173,000 from in-restaurant donations at the 105 Ninety Nine Restaurants’ northeast locations combined with over $227,000 from support and donations raised from in-restaurant events, the Falmouth Road Race and the Pan Mass Challenge to equal a total of over $430,000 raised.

“We are thrilled that the money we raised is going to continue to provide care for children and adults with cancer and fund research needed to help find new cures for cancer,” added Grady.
