Potters Place Annual Fall Show & Sale Starts Friday

It's never too early to start shopping for the holidays!

Potters Place, a non-profit school and cooperative pottery studio in Walpole will be hosting their Annual Fall Show & Sale November 16-18.

A Meet the Artists reception will take place Friday evening, with refreshments and 22 featured Potters Place artisans.

The theme, “Home for the Holidays,” is a collection of functional and fine art pottery, both wheel-thrown and hand-built.

Browse the pottery studio, which will be transformed into gallery displaying vases, batter bowls, mugs, berry bowls, embellished platters, casserole dishes, bowl sets, cookie jars, plates, ornaments, sculptures, and more.

Members of Potters Place also worked to create 50 special bowls in time for the show. All profits from the sale of the 50 bowls will be donated to the Walpole Food Pantry.

"Please support us in our efforts to combat hunger in our community.  Look for our special display offering these bowls for sale," their website said.

Potters will be on-hand throughout the weekend to discuss pottery and talk to prospective students to upcoming classes for both adults and children.

Here are the hours for the event:

-Saturday, November 17, 9 a.m.–8 p.m.
