Essential Functions:

  • Provide world-class customer service by delivering the four core service principles of the Cafe: provide timely and friendly Cafe service, upsell, maintain product presentation standards, and maintain Cafe cleanliness.
  • Ensure exceptional product quality standards, using bake logs, completing prep sheets and waste logs, and working with the manager on duty to verify any necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain Cafe cleanliness at all times, using the maintenance checklists to delegate and follow up on tasks throughout the day.
  • Assist with the execution and compliance of Integrated Store Operations (ISO) standards in partnership with the cafe manager.
  • Prepare and serve drinks and food in accordance with health code and Cafe standards.
  • Perform all opening and closing procedures and support tasks in accordance with Cafe standards.
  • Protect company assets by ensuring the accurate execution of loss prevention procedures, including but not necessarily limited to the following; cashiering and inventory standards, monitoring waste logs and recording consumption, and adhering to discount and return policies.
  • Help orient and train new cafe servers, ensuring a smooth acclimation to the store and our bookselling culture.
  • Act with integrity and trust, promoting our bookselling culture and core values.

  • You sell and share your product knowledge with customers and booksellers, contributing to the overall success of your store.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for unloading, processing and stocking all incoming freight to the sales floor and stockroom areas
  • Processes and prepares receipts of fixtures and supplies
  • Replenishes merchandise to the sales floor from the stockroom
  • Assists in processing incoming/outgoing transfers and returns to vendor
  • Preps merchandise for the merchandising process by ensuring merchandise is sorted and staged appropriately. Removes merchandise from cartons and packaging, places merchandise on proper hanger, verifies price ticket information and tickets merchandise as required
  • Maintains all Company stockroom capacity and organizational guidelines, including recovering the dock at the end of each shift
  • Performs other duties such as assisting on the sales floor, completing price changes, assisting with housekeeping duties, preparing for and taking inventory, organizing the stockroom and other tasks as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in merchandise receiving, handling and stocking in other retail or warehouse/distribution environments
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of work time moving about the receiving area, stock areas, and sales floor. Physical activities include using hand tools, bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others

Payroll Assistant at Mortgage Master

Utilizing your exceptional skills and talents, we will rely on you to assist the Payroll Manager with reporting, data entry, onboarding paperwork, and internal customer service by performing the following duties:

  • Process the closed loan report for the current payroll on daily basis in our Net-Ox program
  • Maintain Excel worksheet for the Loan Officers commission Bps/Changes
  • Maintain the Loan Officers contracts
  • Review bi-weekly report for quality control for errors and corrections for payroll
  • Maintain the Loan Officers time cards in the Time Star program; Add/ delete changes when needed on a daily basis
  • Reset passwords
  • Run reports on a bi-weekly basis
