In addition, the following vehicles will not be allowed in the lots:

  • Any vehicle towing a trailer (this includes fifth-wheel RV units).
  • Professional catering trucks and or services without prior written approval from Stadium Management.
  • Excessive tailgate setups that impede on customers parked around your vehicles, emergency access or deemed to be unsafe or inappropriate by Stadium Management.
  • Any type of swimming pool, portable pool, hot tubs, water filled pickup trucks, or the like.

2. Concert Schedule

The gates to the stadium will open at 6:30 with the J. Geils Band performing their set at 7:30 p.m. Bon Jovi is scheduled to start performing at 9 p.m.

3. Expect Longer Stadium Procedures.

In light of the Boston Marathon Bombing, Gillette Stadium will take extra precaution in their stadium entry procedure. This will create an entry process that is longer than some may be use to.

Each person entering the stadium will be screened, and all bags will be searched and tagged before being allowed through the gates

To help speed up the process, fans are asked to review the list of prohibited items.

Gillette Stadium also asks you to do the following to help security:

  • Leaving any unnecessary bags at home or in your vehicles. There will be express lanes for guests with no bags.
  • Arriving early at the gates
  • Having any bags you need to bring into the stadium open when approaching the gates
  • Removing all metal from your pockets; i.e. cell phone, keys, loose change prior to being screened
  • Follow signs and directions given by staff during the bag searches and individual screenings
  1. A Chance of Lightning

According to the National Weather Service there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms during the show. In the event of lightning, Foxborough fire officials will determine the safest course of action. If needed, shelter will be provided in the concourse area of the stadium until the concert is able to resume.

5. It’s a Longer Show

As approved by the Foxborough Board of Selectmen, the show will have a curfew of midnight. The change was made due to the expectation of a longer  opening set from the J.Geils Band.

At 11:15 p.m., the sound will be turned down and measured by town officials outside the stadium. If the show goes on after midnight, a fine structure has been set up with the fines increasing the longer the show goes over the curfew.
