Watatic Mountain Hawk Watch

Join us for our annual pilgrimage in search of the thousands of hawks that migrate south through Massachusetts on their way to warmer places. Researchers are on the mountain every day, counting hawk species like broad-winged, cooper’s, and peregrine falcons. We will meet at the base of the mountain around 9:00am (call for directions) to begin our hike to the top. Be sure to bring your binoculars, lunch, and layers of warm clothing.
