Author Lies at Walpole Public Library

The Walpole Public Library announce a visit from New York Times bestselling author/illustrator Brian Lies, July 11 from 2-4 p.m.. Lies, whose books include Bats at the Ballgame, the Flatfoot Fox stories, and More, is the illustrator of the 2012 Collaborative Summer Library Program, Dream Big—READ! read some of his books, as well as talk about the process of creating a picture book. He will show sketches and original book art and field questions from the audience. A book signing will follow. Children will also have the opportunity to investigate the MOREbile—the official book tour vehicle—and a giant nest created in conjunction with More. Bring your cameras!
