Boston Marathon Tragedy Reinforces Need for Blood; Drive to be Held at Patriot Place on April 25th

Brigham and Women's/Mass General Health Care Center to host blood drive at Patriot Place on April 25th.

The Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center at Patriot Place in Foxborough will host a blood drive on Thursday, April 25 from 9:30 a.m to 3 p.m. on the Patriot Place concourse next to the Brigham and Women’s/Mass General Health Care Center.

Blood donations will be taken inside the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Brigham and Women’s Hospital Blood Mobile near Gillette Stadium’s Bank of America gate.
 
All who are planning to donate on April 25th are encouraged to schedule their blood donation appointment for that day. Walk-ins are taken as time allows.

Monday’s tragic events at the Boston Marathon reinforces the need for blood is constant.

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/ Brigham and Women’s Hospital Blood Mobile collects blood products throughout the greater Boston area in a safe, professional and effective manner. All of the blood collected on the Blood Mobile directly benefits patients at both institutions. When you donate blood with The Blood Mobile, you know your blood stays within the Brigham/Dana Farber health system.
