Nov, 2-4 is PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend. Animal-welfare organizations in all 1,210 PetSmart stores in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico will participate in the PetSmart Charities National Adoption Weekend.

Bay State Animal Cooperative (BSAC) is one of the more than 2,000 local animal welfare organizations that will be participating in National Adoption Weekend. In Massachusetts BSAC operates in Walpole and Brockton PetSmart stores. If you’re thinking about adopting an animal, please consider saving the life of one by adopting during the National Adoption Weekend at any PetSmart store. By doing so, not only you reap the rewards of owning a pet, you also help BSAC continue its mission of saving animal lives.  For every adoption during the National Adoption Weekend, BSAC receives $35 in adoption reward grant from PetSmart Charities. 

Please note that BSAC requires an adoption application to be completed before an adoption can take place.  Each application takes two-three business days to process.  To ensure a smooth and speedy adoption, please complete an application from our web site at www.baystateanimals.org

BSAC volunteers will be at PatSmart Store in Walpole based on the following schedule:

Friday Nov. 2, from 4-6 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 3, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.

We will be raffling off a gift basket and offering the chance to win discounted adoption fees.
