WHS Students Win Third Place in 'We Are All Blood Brothers' Contest

Third prize is a Yamaha F-Series acoustic guitar and 25 songbooks for the high school.

VH1 announced yesterday that group of Walpole High School students who participated in creating a music video for their 'We are all Blood Brothers' Video Contest came in third place.

To enter the contest, which supports VH1's Save the Music Foundation, students in middle schools and high schools across the country had to record a music video to the tune of musician Ingrid Michaelson’s song “Blood Brothers.”

The grand prize winner gets a live performance by Michaelson at their school.

For coming in third, Walpole High School will receive 25 songbooks and a Yamaha F-Series acoustic guitar.

According to Walpole's student newspaper The Rebellion, Walpole High School senior Ali Ajemian "decided to enter the contest, in part because of her love for the singer but also for the prizes that the winner’s school will get."

Each video was voted on through Facebook with Michaelson picking the winning entry.

Ajemian's video received over 46,000 views.
