UPDATED: Escaped Inmate Captured in Holyoke
Juan Lugo, an inmate at Pondville Correctional Center in Norfolk, was captured in Holyoke Friday evening after escaping for a work detail earlier in the day.

Holyoke Police confirmed they captured Juan Lugo, an inmate at the Pondville Correctional Center in Norfolk, Friday evening.
The 46-year-old male walked away from a work detail in Norfolk at about 11:15 a.m. Friday.
Lugo, who is doing time for armed robbery, is from Holyoke and his last known address was in Chicopee, according to Walpole Deputy Police Chief John Carmichael.
Walpole PD sent out a reverse 9-1-1 to residents informing them of the situation.
Boyden School was temporarily locked down earlier today and all schools were released as usual.
