Walpole Athletes Named Boston Globe All-Stars, All-Scholastics
The Rebels have 16 All-Stars and two All-Scholastics players.
The Boston Globe recently announced the All-Scholastics and All-Star players for the fall 2012 season and Walpole has several athletes represented on the lists.
16 Rebel student-athletes took home All-Star honors while two Walpole players - junior golfer Robbie Boush and junior field hockey player Brook Matherson - earned All-Scholastic.
Boush tied for first in the Division II South Sectional Golf Tournament and competed for the MIAA Div. State Championship.
Matherson was the MVP of the Carey Division in the Bay State Conference and lead her team to an undefeated regular season before losing in the MIAA Div. 1 State Semi-Final.
The Rebels football team had the most all-star selections with five. Field Hockey had three all-stars.
