Rogers Wins Mass. House 12th Norfolk District

Democrat John Rogers has been elected to his 11th term in office.

 

Incumbent John Rogers will serve an 11th term as the Mass. House Representative for the 12th Norfolk District including all of Norwood and four districts of Walpole.

Rogers defeated challenger James Stanton for the second time. Republican Stanton challenged Rogers in the 2010 election as well.

Stanton won the Walpole districts by 257 votes. He had 3,460 votes to Rogers' 3,203.

Rogers won 9,224 votes in Norwood. Stanton won 4,600.

Rep. Rogers was at the Olde Colonial Cafe in Norwood to celebrate his victory on election night.

I really believe it is time for term limits.Don't you think 20+ years is enough.I don't think these are meant to be lifetime jobs.
