Cub Scouts in East Walpole's Pack 601 had a blast Thursday as they gathered to launch model rockets at Adams Farm.

The Cubs enjoyed pizza and dessert before taking their homemade rockets that they worked on earlier in the year and shooting them off into the sky.

With the guidance of Cub Master John Walach and other helpful parents the kids worked together to prep the rockets for launch and everyone counted down for the big blast off.

The event was the final of many held throughout the summer by Pack 601 who are made up of students from Old Post Road School.
